About Kannapolis Mouse Control
Kannapolis Mouse Control was founded by Mark Johnson, a lifelong resident of Cabarrus County, who saw a real need for dedicated, effective mouse extermination services right here in our community. Having grown up exploring areas from the historic streets of Cannon Village to the revitalized Downtown Kannapolis, Mark understands the unique challenges homeowners and businesses face with rodent intrusions. Our base at 2019 W A St, Kannapolis, NC, isn't just an address; it's a commitment to being an integral part of this city, serving our neighbors in the Kannapolis Historic District, Westside, and beyond. We're not a faceless franchise; we're your local experts, deeply familiar with the housing styles and environmental factors that contribute to mouse problems in Kannapolis.
Our approach to mouse control is rooted in local expertise. We know that the humid subtropical climate, with its hot summers and mild winters, means mice are constantly seeking shelter indoors, whether it's an older home in Cannon Village or a newer development near the North Carolina Research Campus. We don't just set traps; we meticulously inspect properties, identifying entry points and nesting sites that are common in Kannapolis architecture. From the tight crawl spaces of homes built decades ago to the specific challenges presented by properties close to green spaces, our strategies are tailored. We serve Kannapolis, and our knowledge extends to nearby cities like Concord, Salisbury, and Charlotte, but our heart and primary focus remain right here, ensuring our community is free from rodent nuisances.
What truly sets Kannapolis Mouse Control apart is our owner-operated dedication. Mark Johnson isn't just the founder; he's your lead exterminator, personally overseeing and often performing the work. This hands-on approach ensures that every job meets our high standards and that you receive the direct, honest communication you deserve. We pride ourselves on providing upfront quotes and delivering workmanship you can inspect, giving you peace of mind that your mouse problem is being handled by someone who truly cares about our community and its well-being.
Growing up right here in Kannapolis, I've seen firsthand how our humid subtropical climate, with its hot summers and mild winters, can make mouse control a year-round challenge. My family has been in Cabarrus County for generations, and I've spent my entire career understanding the unique pest pressures we face, from the older homes in the Kannapolis Historic District to the newer developments near the North Carolina Research Campus. I started Kannapolis Mouse Control after years working for larger companies, realizing that what our community truly needed was a local, owner-operated service that understood the specific realities of mouse extermination in places like Cannon Village and Westside. We're not just some out-of-town outfit; our roots are here, at 2019 W A St, and I'm personally involved in every job, ensuring we provide solutions tailored to our local environment, whether it's dealing with an infestation in Downtown Kannapolis or preventing one near Village Park. We serve not just Kannapolis, but also our neighbors in Concord, Salisbury, and Charlotte, always with an upfront quote and workmanship you can inspect.

What Kannapolis, NC Customers Say
“We had a serious mouse problem in our pantry off Dale Earnhardt Boulevard. I tried traps myself, but these mice were too smart. Kannapolis Mouse Control came out, identified where they were getting in near the foundation, and sealed it up. It's been weeks, and not a single new sign of them. Highly recommend!”
“Living in an older home near the Gem Theatre, we occasionally get critters. This time, mice were setting up shop in our attic. Kannapolis Mouse Control was very professional. They set up bait stations discreetly and within a week, the scratching noises were gone. They followed up to make sure the problem was resolved, which was great.”
“After seeing a mouse scurry across my kitchen floor, I called Kannapolis Mouse Control in a panic. They were able to come out quickly. The technician was thorough, explaining the process, and found entry points around our utility lines. They sealed everything, and we haven't seen a mouse since. It's a huge relief!”
